KPN is opgenomen in de Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) 2010. Daarmee behoort KPN volgens onafhankelijke experts tot de meest duurzame telecombedrijven ter wereld. Beleggers gebruiken de DJSI als graadmeter voor de duurzaamheid van een bedrijf. De DJSI is samengesteld op basis op van financiële, bestuurlijke, maatschappelijke en milieuprestaties. Voor het eerst sinds de lancering van de Eerlijke Bankwijzer krijgen enkele banken lagere scores. ABN Amro, Fortis en ING gaan alle drie achteruit op transparantie. De initiatiefnemers van de Eerlijke Bankwijzer noemen het gebrek aan ambitie ten aanzien van transparantie bij sommige banken ronduit teleurstellend.
