Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is delighted to invite you to attend remotely the event “CSRD: Implementation and Beyond”, which will be held in Brussels on 15 May 2024, between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm CEST. For those unable to attend at the scheduled time, a recording of the event will be available.
The event is hosted by MEP Pascal Durand and organized by GRI in association with Lefebvre Dalloz. It will set the context for effective implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), and will include the presentation of the CSRD Essentials, a new free series of briefing resource aimed at navigating the complexities of the new directive.
The December 2022 adoption of the CSRD represents a pivotal moment for the EU. Mandating companies to report on their environmental and social impact, the directive ensures standardized reporting and transparency. It aims to expand sustainability reporting boundaries and address abuses within global supply chains.
The event will thus aim to delve into the implications and practical aspects of the CSRD, providing valuable insights for regulators and stakeholders, while reflecting on its implementation and correspondence with global standards.
