DESCRIPTION:Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is delighted to invite you to
  attend remotely the event “CSRD: Implementation and Beyond”\, which w
 ill be held in Brussels on 15 May 2024\, between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm CEST
 . For those unable to attend at the scheduled time\, a recording of the ev
 ent will be available.\n\nThe event is hosted by MEP Pascal Durand and org
 anized by GRI in association with Lefebvre Dalloz. It will set the context
  for effective implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Di
 rective (CSRD)\, and will include the presentation of the CSRD Essentials\
 , a new free series of briefing resource aimed at navigating the complexit
 ies of the new directive.\n\nThe December 2022 adoption of the CSRD repres
 ents a pivotal moment for the EU. Mandating companies to report on their e
 nvironmental and social impact\, the directive ensures standardized report
 ing and transparency. It aims to expand sustainability reporting boundarie
 s and address abuses within global supply chains.\n\nThe event will thus a
 im to delve into the implications and practical aspects of the CSRD\, prov
 iding valuable insights for regulators and stakeholders\, while reflecting
  on its implementation and correspondence with global standards.\n\nRegist
