The role of the Environmental Specialist team is a mission-critical one for Ecochain. The environmental specialist contributes to driving:

  • Knowledge & Innovation – The team is the source of LCA knowledge within the company. In this team we develop new concepts and innovations to feed our technology roadmap. We make sure that the market recognizes us as thought leader on LCA & foot printing. We share!

  • Value creation – Customers are happy and use Ecochain software actively. They feel really supported and empowered by the team to measure their environmental impact. We deliver more than the customer expected (overdeliver) which results in notable upsell and limited churn. We empower!

Your responsibilities

  • To execute client projects focused on enablement of the Ecochain suite with clients at high quality standards. This involves interacting with clients, training on how to use the software, planning, data management, presenting results to clients, and writing (standardized) consultancy reports. This also involves performing standardized analyses such as hotspot analysis or background analysis of database references to provide additional insights for clients.

  • To manage client relationships and to evaluate continuous improvement potential for EcochainThis prevents client churn and will protect Ecochain’s reputation.

  • Involvement in quality control procedures: e.g., performance of customer satisfaction interviews, performance of database updates, reporting of software bugs, providing input for improvement of standardized procedures.

  • Answering non-project related client questions as part of our customer service.

  • Junior environmental specialists are supported by their medior / senior colleagues.

  • Most important performance evaluation criteria for a junior (in order of importance): (1) quality & (2) customer success.
