To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Electrical/Energy/Environmental Engineering or similar university degree
  • Few years’ experience in developing/constructing/managing renewable assets and/or projects
  • Knowledge and experience of Stakeholder Management
  • Knowledge of financial modelling
  • Project Management skills (senior level)
  • Experience in contract negotiation and managing contracts

Your responsibilities

In this role you will be the responsible Project Manager and the key point of contact for several development projects. In different phases of the projects, you will be working closely with the Global Development team responsible Asset and Construction Manager of the projects, the legal and acquisition team and the external Development and Commercial Managers who are responsible for the day-to-day management of the assets.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Deliver, with others, the sustained long-term profitability and business growth of Ingka Group by leading end of life optimizations and in-house developments of Ingka Group renewable energy assets.
  • Develop working relationships with third party service providers Development and Commercial Managers to ensure high-quality outsourcing of renewable energy development projects especially related to stakeholder management.
  • Manage and be the main point of contact for the end of life and inhouse development aspects of wind and solar farm management, including project management of various technical, contractual, legal, insurance and health & safety issues.
  • Secure the development and implementation of wind and solar farm management plans, annual budgets, internal audits, internal reporting and Board meeting material.
  • Identify potential improvements to wind and solar farms especially related to end of life and life extensions to improve operational and financial performance.
  • Develop various projects aimed to improve the asset management of the wind and solar farms
  • Be proactive in the implementation of our management systems and tools to ensure consistent ways of working and continuous improvement within the portfolio.
  • Support the Portfolio Development Manager in developing (market) standards for inhouse developments and end of life processes to be an integral part of our overall asset management.
  • Support and be the key point of contact in hand-over from Development to Construction and preparations for the hand-over to operations.
  • Apply expertise and input to support growth of the Ingka Group renewable energy investment portfolio, ranging from technical due diligence of investment opportunities and contract negotiations to preparation and takeover of acquired assets into operations.

You will report to Renewable Energy Portfolio Development Manager, Kim Strengman.

Traveling on an occasional basis is required in this role.

You will have access to offices in Amsterdam and Leiden. Renewable Energy team is based in Leiden; hence the place of work will be Leiden.
