The document will present basic principles for companies to communicate environmental information publicly and inside their organisations. It will also contain examples of voluntary and mandatory reporting initiatives.
The first meeting of the newly formed TC 207 Working Group 4 on environmental communications will be held in Kuala Lumpur on 4-5 july. The guidelines may be finished by september 2004. (whow!)
I hope personally that ISO will be wise enough to fit this work with the work of GRI.
