Through programs, tools, networking opportunities, and events we help organizations take concrete steps on themes such as human rights, diversity & inclusion, climate, and anti-corruption.

About the Position

The Participant Engagement Manager is responsible for creating and implementing strategies to engage current participants, attract new participants, and encourage collaboration among stakeholders within the UN Global Compact Network. In close partnership with our global Headquarters in New York, this position focuses on building strong relationships with business participants, understanding their needs and challenges, and helping turn ambition into action. The Participant Engagement Manager also works closely with other colleagues, such as the Programmes team, the Communications Officer, the Office Manager, and the Executive Director.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies. Identify and connect to potential business participants from various sectors across the Netherlands.
• Cultivate relationships with existing participants to ensure their active involvement and commitment to our initiatives. Offer support and guidance to participants in implementing UN Global Compact initiatives and advancing sustainability practices within their organisations.
• Represent the UN Global Compact NL at external events to share our mission and connect with (potential) partners.
• Proactively implement and update tools to improve participant engagement, efficiency, and satisfaction, including the Global Compact database, CRM, and tracking/reporting systems.
• Preparing and monitoring budgets, reports, and the financial strategy.
