Project Manager Farm Sustainability

For the Farm Sustainability team within Corporate Sustainability, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager who is passionate about advancing sustainable farming. In this role, you will collaborate closely with member farmers, experts, and on-farm advisors to design and deliver projects that accelerate sustainability at farm level. Your work will span areas such as regenerative agriculture, innovative emission-reduction solutions, and scalable sustainability programmes.

To succeed, you bring strong time-management and organisational skills, the ability to balance diverse priorities, and a solid understanding of Dutch farming systems.

As project manager at Farm Sustainability you are:

• Highly skilled in project management: you independently define, plan, lead, and execute projects according to FrieslandCampina’s standards and the PPM methodology—delivering results on time, in full, and within budget.
• Comfortable working in a matrix organisation and across varying contexts; some projects sit within programmes, others within different sustainability departments.
• A problem solver with a structured approach and a hands-on mindset.
• Focused on stakeholder management, working with colleagues across the business, the cooperative, and external partners.
• Actively involved in supporting the Farm Sustainability project portfolio.
• An ambassador for high-quality project management: you contribute to PPM capability building and support fellow project managers in applying best practices and sharing insights.

The Farm Sustainability team consists of project managers, programme managers, and experts, all committed to enabling impactful and scalable sustainability at farm level. Our goal is to ensure that practical, technically feasible, and scalable solutions are available to the majority of our member dairy farmers—helping FrieslandCampina achieve its ambition of Nourishing a Better Planet. The team is part of Global Corporate Sustainability.

We work together from Wageningen and Amersfoort one day per week and embrace a hybrid working model for the rest of the week.
