Your challenges?

As an innovation leader in the semiconductor industry, ASML wants to take its responsibility and be a top performer on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Sustainability. We are on a journey to have net zero emissions upstream in our value chain and to have zero waste from our operations to landfill an incineration by 2030. To achieve these ambitious goals, we are transforming our Sourcing and Procurement (SS&P) organization to fully anchor ESG sustainability in the way we do business. As part of this transformation and taking along the increasing challenges and opportunities that developments in ESG reporting offer we are creating a SS&P ESG sustainability team. For this team we are looking for a responsible SS&P manager who is enthusiastic about responsible sourcing and ESG reporting requirements.

Role and responsibilities

As part of the SS&P ESG sustainability team, your main responsibilities include:

  • Understanding and implementing CRSD requirements for the ASML supply chain in conjunction with ASMLs current ESG strategy and Responsible Sourcing due diligence approach and activities (e.g. Conflict Minerals and RBA)
  • Developing policy and strategy for responsible sourcing in collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Identification and assessment of ESG risks at suppliers (e.g. human rights, environment)
  • Developing and executing action- and improvement plans to prevent and mitigate ESG risks
  • Together with SS&P ESG team organization of events/workshops for suppliers to share best practices and knowledge about responsible sourcing, human rights and other relevant ESG themes
  • Representing ASML SS&P in ESG or RBA audits and/or in (inter)national partnerships
  • Collaborate with Corporate ESG and ESG finance team to prepare ASML on CSDDD reporting requirements
