TBAuctions

TBAuctions accelerates the pace of change into the future of B2B commerce; a future where online auctioning is the first choice to sell and buy used business goods. As the premier online auction platform, we pioneer the circular economy, extending the life of used goods while reducing waste and emissions. We believe that “Everything Has Value” and we make auctioning more effective and efficient by using technology, standardization, automation, and economies of scale. Through AI and big data, we developed intelligent auctioning that continuously optimizes the parameters of auction dynamics, creates friction-free user experiences, and efficiently matches supply with demand.

TBA’s business currently operates within mostly B2B end markets with net auction sales of 1.3B EUR in 2023. We are currently the market leader in online auctioning in the Benelux and Nordics with a strong position to grow across Continental Europe. Our portfolio consists of currently 8 auction brands in Benelux and the Nordics.

In January 2022, TBA was acquired by Castik Capital to support the next phase of growth. Soon thereafter, Summa Equity joined Castik as co-investor in the pan-European digital auction platform. With the support of both forces, TBA will continue to strengthen our excellent market position within existing geographies and verticals, accelerating organic growth and increasing the pace of add-on acquisitions to build the leading European digital auction house.

We are proud to play an important role in the global move towards a circular economy by finding new owners for second hand and used goods which is at the heart of the global ESG agenda. The main objective of the ESG Director role is to stimulate and activate circularity and sustainability within our company. The position reports to the CMO and the ESG Director will be part of the Marketing MT.
