More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as an ESG Reporting intern in Amsterdam with Signify.

In this role, you will be supporting the sustainability reporting team to review and improve its ESG reporting practices. This role includes review and validation of data, documenting of reporting processes, support in managing internal controls for data accuracy, and contributing to the continuous improvement of ESG reporting workflows. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and reliable data for internal and external disclosures. You will report to the ESG Reporting Manager in Signify and work closely with colleagues responsible for environmental impact, sustainable products, sustainable operations, and sustainable supply chain, as well as colleagues outside of the sustainability department. Your responsibilities include:

• Support the monitoring and validation of data related to our strategic ESG KPIs
• Support the review and improvement of documentation for ESG reporting processes
• Help design and test controls to ensure data integrity and compliance with reporting standards.
• Collaborate with sustainability, finance, and IT teams to streamline reporting processes and manuals
• Conducting benchmarking and analysis of best practices in ESG reporting
