The draft protocol is primarily organised around two sets of concepts that were developed to help reporting organisations to define boundaries – significance of risk/impact and control/influence. The GRI invites all of you to review the draft and provide your comments particularly from the following points:
-Usefulness and practicality of the protocol as a guide for setting and understanding boundaries of sustainability reports;
-Structure of the protocol; and
-Level of detail offered within the protocol .

The working group will reconvene in December to review all comments and finalise the protocol for release as a pilot version in early next year.
