This Workshop inspires and educates fashion professionals on the circular economy, its key principles and concepts. Participants engage in practical applications of the circular economy and innovations for the apparel and textile industries.
Two consecutive workshop days allow participants to deep dive into strategies for circular design and their trade-offs, building momentum and planting seeds for circular product innovation with expert guidance.

What to expect?
You can expect to roll up your sleeves and dive deep into:
- best practices, trends, and case studies of key industry players and technologies;
- circular design principles and strategies, and the related impact potential, challenges and opportunities;
- circular design trade-offs as well as the dependency on the business model and the end-of-use supply chain;
- circular innovation opportunities for your product and co-creating a roadmap with tangible next steps.
After registering your interest in both sessions here, your eligibility to participate will be assessed (you must be from a Dutch organisation). If eligible, you will receive an information package and Zoom details to participate in two 3 hour long workshop sessions taking place over Zoom and Miro.
Who is it for?
Professionals from Dutch apparel companies looking for new learnings and approaches in order to accelerate their organisation’s transformation towards circularity.
This training is being made possible by the Dutch Circular Textiles Valley Project and it is available for free for Dutch apparel companies.
There is a limit of up to two participants per company joining. Registration on eventbrite does not ensure a spot in the workshop. An email will be sent confirming your spot at the workshop. The workshops will be conducted in English.
