About the role

We’re looking for a passionate Sustainability Professional, to join BV Solutions, and independant advisory unit operating separately from Bureau Veritas’ inspection and certification activities. As Senior Sustainability Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on their environmental performance, sustainability ambitions and ESG maturity. With your deep expertise in CO₂, Life Cycle Assessment, energy management and sustainable strategy, you will lead complex projects that help organizations reduce risks, improve performance and accelerate their sustainable transition.

In this senior role, you combine your technical excellence with thought leadership, project ownership, and mentoring responsibilities. You guide junior consultants, ensure high-quality delivery, contribute to service development and act as a trusted advisor to our strategic clients.

Your responsabilities

In this role, you serve as a strategic sustainability partner for organisations seeking clarity, direction, and measurable impact. You translate complex environmental data into meaningful advice, help clients navigate ESG expectations, and guide them toward more responsible and efficient operations. Alongside the technical work, you take ownership of projects, support the development of colleagues, and contribute to strengthening both client relationships and internal capabilities. Your expertise, combined with a practical mindset, ensures that sustainability becomes not just an ambition, but an achievable and well‑managed reality.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver LCAs, CO₂‑footprints and energy audits for actionable sustainability insights;
• Advise clients on ESG strategy, compliance, and energy optimisation;
• Produce clear and reliable ESG and sustainability reports;
• Manage consultancy projects, safeguarding planning, budget and quality;
• Coach junior colleagues and support training and methodology development;
• Identify new opportunities and help win assignments through strong client engagement;
