Platform Officer

We are excited to be searching for a proactive and pragmatic Platform Officer with an interest to join our IDH Solutions team, and we hope it’s you!

Your role.

As Platform Officer, you support the coordination and management of voluntary, industry-led sustainability sector initiative platforms. This role involves providing tactical and operational support and ensuring efficient execution to help the initiative achieve their goals. You will work closely with the relevant Platform Manager and the appointed decision maker of the initiatives.

Further, as Platform Officer you will also participate in the broader Solutions agile team, including contributing to other projects in Solutions across Better Jobs, Better Environment, Better Income and Gender Equality.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Support the day-to-day coordination and management of assigned initiatives, working closely with the Platform Manager and ensuring activities are delivered within agreed timelines.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of sustainability strategies, programme documentation, and relevant sectoral approaches and projects linked to the initiatives.
• Support the preparation and delivery of trainings and workshops, helping to align stakeholders on shared topics, themes, and tools.
• Contribute to proposal development and business development activities, supporting funding applications.
• Support the ideation and development of new value propositions, drawing on relevant sectoral and thematic knowledge.
• Support the efficient and high-quality delivery of projects, ensuring activities are implemented in line with agreed timelines, budgets and objectives.
• Contribute ideas as part of an agile team to improve project management processes, tools, and ways of working.
• Apply and continue to build technical knowledge related to the themes, initiatives, and tools relevant to the portfolio.
• Demonstrate a strong interest in personal and professional development, contributing to the development of new propositions across IDH’s focus areas, including Better Jobs, Better Income, Better Environment, and Gender Equity
