About the role
You will be instrumental in driving our Sustainability supply agenda, putting Vestacy at the forefront of sustainability in its sector and unlocking long-term value growth. This position is based in the Netherlands.
Your responsibilities
OVERALL: The role has full responsibility for the Sustainable Supply Chain (environment and Human Rights) globally working with external partners and senior stakeholder management across the internal global function.
- Lead the development and implementation of Vestacy’s sustainability supply chain strategy with our own manufacturing units, with suppliers and with primary raw material producers.
- Represent Vestacy with external supply partners to build and deliver programmes, demonstrate performance, communicate and promote Vestacy’s policy and positions, and report progress.
- Lead Vestacy’s sustainability performance and ensure compliance on environment and human rights agendas in our global value chain, working closely with our supply chain leader to deliver sustainable ambition, net zero roadmap, human right policy and commitments, responsible sourcing and biodiversity programmes.
- Environments:
- Lead and develop Vestacy’s environmental and net zero strategies, including decarbonization, carbon management and climate-related financial risk.
- Lead, develop and coordinate Vestacy’s environmental programmes to deliver our net zero ambitions and roadmap to water stewardship programmes, waste management and supplier environmental performance to address scope 3 decarbonization.
- Human Rights: lead and develop Vestacy’s human rights and value chain social impact agenda, to ensure our human rights policy, labour standards commitments are maintained with measurable positive supply chain community impact.
- Ecosystems and biodiversity: lead Vestacy’s sustainable supply chains programmes, protecting and strengthening ecosystems and biodiversity though supplier and partner programmes at origin, including addressing nature-related financial risk.
