Beaver Nexus is a cleantech startup developing smart, mobile pyrolysis reactors (TWR – Transportable Wood Reactor) that convert agricultural and forestry residues into biochar and pyroligneous acid, enabling on-site carbon capture, carbon credit generation, and biomass valorization.

We are about to close our first investment round and are now expanding our core team to scale climate-positive technologies across Europe.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Carbon & Sustainability Engineer who will act as a bridge between technical expertise and commercial execution, supporting our sales and marketing teams with regulatory, carbon, and sustainability knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Support sales and marketing teams with technical and regulatory input related to carbon capture, biochar, and carbon credits
• Prepare technical sales materials, presentations, and sustainability documentation
• Track and interpret EU and Dutch carbon, sustainability, and environmental regulations
• Participate in customer and partner meetings as a technical subject-matter expert
• Translate complex environmental and regulatory topics into clear commercial value propositions
• Thrive in a fast-moving startup environment, contributing across multiple functions
