At the heart of the Profit Pledge is the mission to “Re-connect to human nature.” This mission is pursued through strategic partnerships focused on two primary areas: the protection of nature and the protection of youth emotional well-being. We collaborate with organizations such as Super Chill and War Child, to help youth build mental resilience and creating awareness for this rising issue.

Purpose of the job

The Head of Program Nature is responsible for the ‘Protection of nature’ pillar of our Profit Pledge strategy, ensuring that we reach maximum planetary impact with our partnerships and contributions. This role is also responsible for delivering on the governance responsibilities of the Profit Pledge, ensuring compliance and transparency of the BV. Our north star is to establish the Rituals Profit Pledge with its mission of “re-connecting to human nature” as the thought-leader in creating impact for the wellbeing of people & planet, with the nature protection pillar as a key strategic contributor.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Impact

• Develop and continuously refine the nature strategy of Profit Pledge, ensuring maximum impact in nature conservation
• In cooperation with Executive Director Impact, create thought leadership strategy on nature conservation

Partnership Management

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing partners.
• Identify and onboard new partners aligned with our vision and impact goals.
• Support partners in scaling their programs and strategies.
• Execute impact measurement, financial monitoring, and due diligence of all partners to maximize the impact of donations.

Governance & compliance

• Responsible for implementing all governance policies of Profit Plege, ensuring transparent and ethical compliance of all funds
• Develop annual public reporting on Profit Pledge progress
• Coordinate advisory board process & governance

Span of Influence

• Externally: always up to date and connected to networks & industry developments, recognizing needs, opportunities and policy developments which will influence our strategy and make us thought leader and recognized partner in the nature conservation field.
• Internally: expertise, research and data from this role will influence strategy and sponsorship decisions of Profit Pledge
