Eneco

Why choose for Eneco?

Living within the natural limits of the planet, that is what Eneco believes in and strives for. But unfortunately, as humanity, we are depleting the earth. Ecosystems have no time to recover, biodiversity is threatened and more nature is lost than created. We are experiencing climate change as more carbon is added to the atmosphere than nature can absorb.

If we want to pass on the planet to future generations in a liveable way, we must not let the earth warm up further than 1.5°C. From the One Planet plan, we have the ambition to be climate neutral as early as 2035. Not only in our own activities, but also in the energy we supply to our customers. The One Planet plan also contains measurable targets in the areas of biodiversity, circularity and society. The goals in the plan are inextricably linked to our corporate strategy and business plan. Strategic choices, investment decisions are tested against the One Planet goals.
