The recent evolution of digital and data tools and technologies, provides us with exciting new opportunities to accurately measure, monitor and act on our environmental impact. We are looking for a Sustainability Data analyst to work at the confluence of these two very important areas of Digital and Sustainability and support us in moving faster towards a more Sustainable future.
Wat we vragen
- Identify and access the right data sources and develop solutions, such as tooling, in collaboration with relevant functions / domains, ESG R&D and IT
- Develop prototypes, perform ad-hoc analysis and deliver data driven insights to internal stakeholders
- Break down the work defined in epics into features and user stories
- Provide input into overall sustainability reporting and data roadmap, and contribute to embedding sustainability digital and data tools
- Stay up-to-date on the evolving landscape of sustainability standards and digital tools, invest in learning some of the relevant tools
As a Sustainability Data Analyst, you will be a spider in the web, and work with Corporate Sustainability, Procurement, Finance, Master Data and IT to realize FrieslandCampina Sustainability reporting and data goals, in line with business needs. As first priority, you will play a central role in developing and embedding a new future proof process and tooling to report greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) in our value chain (“GHG Scope 3”, focusing on procured dairy, external manufacturing, packaging and sugar). Reporting on GHG Scope 3 and tracking progress towards our 43% reduction target is an important part of our Climate Plan. Improving the robustness, granularity, and auditability of this data is therefore a crucial part of our sustainability strategy.

You will formally be a part of the Digital R&D team based in Wageningen and part of the Sustainability team (connected to CSRD project team and virtual Sustainability D&A team), tapping into the broad digital expertise of the D&A teams in among others R&D, Procurement, along with IT and its external partners to deliver on your goals.
