Junior Sustainability Analyst

Hendrix Genetics is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Junior Sustainability Analyst to join our team and assist in the development and implementation of our sustainability program. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing our environmental sustainability initiatives while also contributing to the creation of value for our customers. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and report on sustainability data, including but not limited to carbon emissions, energy usage, waste management, and water consumption.
• Play an active in role in the organisation and planning of meetings on sustainability internally and with stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of sustainability metrics, targets, and goals aligned with CSRD standards and best practices.
• Support the integration of sustainability considerations into business operations, product development, and management processes.
• Help identify opportunities for innovation and value creation through sustainable business practices, such as resource efficiency, product life cycle analysis, and circular economy initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation of sustainability communications, including sustainability reports, stakeholder engagement materials, and marketing material.
• Contribute to the promotion of a culture of sustainability across the organization through training, awareness campaigns, sharing best practices and innovative solutions and employee engagement activities.
