Internship – Sustainability Reporting Water & Wastewater

Are you a student, passionate about sustainability, and looking for an experience in an international environment?

HEINEKEN is committed to becoming net zero carbon by 2030 (scope 1 & 2) and to reducing its water usage significantly. To achieve this ambition, we run multiple projects, and we want to measure the impact of those projects. That’s when accurate sustainability reporting is essential. As part of this internship, you will support sustainability reporting, coordinate the overall process, provide supporting materials, manage different stakeholders, and review data accuracy and performance.

The internship is based in Schiphol and available on the 1st of September for a duration of a minimum of 6 months.

Your Responsibilities

In this internship, you will:

• Support HEINEKEN Operating companies worldwide with sustainability water and wastewater reporting
• Analyse reporting data, highlight issues, and provide feedback to reporting sites
• Update documentation and guidance on reporting
• Create training materials for our production sites
• Support the development and automation of reports and dashboards to track (waste) water trends and identify improvement opportunities

The Department

The Sustainable Production department (part of Global Production, Supply Chain) consists of a multidisciplinary team, working on different subjects of sustainability of our operations, such as water and energy usage, decarbonization, wastewater management and reporting. The team is made up of professionals from different countries, expertise and academic background with all one goal to make our operations more sustainable.
