Mileway

Are you a driven, ambitious Energy or real estate student, ready to take the first step in your Energy career? We are looking for a smart and enthusiastic intern to join our Amsterdam team. You’ll be part of a young, dynamic team supporting the roll out of Mileway’s energy agenda across the organisation.

Under the leadership of the Energy Manager, you will make a real impact in supporting the roll out of our Solar PV program , the development of energy data strategy and plans to support electrification of our customer base activities (3PLS, manufacturing,  E-Retailers..) ultimately serving our decarbonization agenda. You will be challenged to work on a strategic mission for Mileway across a large portfolio of over 1,800 assets across 11 European countries.

High-quality, well located urban spaces can enable cities to be more efficient, reducing the distance that goods, workers and consumers need to travel, and in turn, reducing emissions. These spaces, in turn, contribute to vibrant urban communities, creating a virtuous circle where demand for services and goods creates more businesses and jobs. As Europe’s largest provider of last mile logistics real estate, we have the scale to make this vision the norm. By embedding an ambitious ESG program into our business strategy we can decarbonise and create positive social impacts through the last mile ecosystem; ultimately delivering on our purpose to create space for local communities to connect, prosper and grow.

Working at Mileway

We offer an opportunity you simply won’t find anywhere else. Only launched in 2019, Mileway has grown into Europe’s leader in last mile logistics real estate, with a 450-plus team across more than twenty offices in 11 countries. Mileway set out to be a different kind of real estate company from the beginning, like our cloud-based IT infrastructure and our team’s ability to flex across borders, combining the best of local knowledge with the pooled expertise of a pan-European business.

While we have already achieved a lot – our international, “can do” team, is only just getting started – we want to reshape our industry for the better. Our mission is to be the most customer and climate focused last mile real estate company in Europe, creating space for businesses to grow sustainably. To get there, we live our values: Drive, Trust, Grow, Together.

At Mileway, we believe company growth comes from supporting the growth of our combined capabilities. This is why we have our own inhouse learning & development programme, where personal, professional and business development go hand in hand – supporting you in your own bespoke career development. While your base will be the Amsterdam office, we will give you flexibility to work some of the week from home. We’ll also equip you with a state-of-the-art technology package that helps you keep in touch, wherever you are.
