CSR Europe Award at the CSE project with Lloyds TSB

The event, which was attended by over 400 executives from European companies, was held in Brussels and was addressed by the Chairman of CSR Europe, Mr. Etienne Davignon and the Vice-Chairman of the EU for Business and Industry, Mr. G.Verheugen.

The outcome of the 2year co-operation was presented by Mr. N.Avlonas, Executive Director of the Center for Sustainability & Excellence (CSE) and Mr. J.Swannick, CSR Director of Lloyds TSB. The innovative project included the measurement of CSR activities and their integration into the Strategy and Policy of the organization. In addition, the project involved the publication of an innovative Annual Report, which has already received flattering remarks from the British Press.

It’s worth noting that Lloyds TSB, one of the major European banks, based in London, with over 75,000 employees, has been using the services of CSE for the creation of an integrated CSR strategy, since 2004 and has already presented the outcome of the specific project in many conferences all over the world.
