Job Purpose
This role will lead the PMO to the CAS function; working closely with the CCASO. The role will drive and deliver the successful implementation of new systems, processes and ways of working, while providing rigorous governance, budget oversight and execution discipline across global initiatives. It offers the opportunity to shape how a critical global function operates, enabling greater impact, efficiency and strategic alignment as the company builds its future as a standalone organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the PMO for the Communications, Public Affairs and Sustainability function at TMICC, ensuring the successful delivery of strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement to bring clarity and simplicity to our:
- Ways of working and handovers, processes, procedures and policies
- Forward planning
- Insight and measurement to assess efficacy and act on findings
- Drive financial oversight
- Change management
In Detail
- Establish and manage governance structures, milestones and reporting to optimise team effectiveness and ensure visibility, accountability and delivery against priorities.
- Drive the implementation of new systems, tools and digital platforms that enable more effective communications, stakeholder engagement and sustainability impact.
- Partner with functional leadership to improve ways of working that increase efficiency, clarity and collaboration.
- Oversee the planning, prioritisation and sequencing of different initiatives to ensure alignment with business priorities and resource availability.
- Manage budget, ensuring disciplined financial oversight, tracking of investments and delivery of expected value.
- Develop clear progress reporting and executive updates for the Chief Communications, Public Affairs and Sustainability Officer and leadership team.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration
- Identify risks, dependencies and opportunities across the portfolio and proactively drive mitigation actions.
- Foster a culture of delivery, transparency and continuous improvement across the function’s agenda and support the team on the journey; fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
