In the past few months, we have seen significant developments in the sustainability reporting space. The CSRD has finally been adopted, establishing a clear scope that outlines who is required to report. The Draft Simplified ESRS have been published, and they, though not final, indicate the direction for future reporting requirements. With the regulatory landscape stabilizing and the dust settling, now is the time to start making plans, to (re)calibrate or to pick up old plans and get the ball rolling.

KPMG is hosting the next webinar in our series” Update EU Omnibus Package”. The dust has settled and it is time to steer for the future. In this session, we will have a roundtable conversation with KPMG experts and reporting entities to discuss a number of requirements that might be complex to deal with, and we will hear from practitioners what their actions are going forward and the reasons behind them.
Vera Moll (Partner Sustainability Reporting) will lead the conversation on the following topics:
- What is the current status of regulatory developments (also highlighting several key requirements to be aware of)?
- Practitioners will share their views on the following:
- What is going to be different in your work this year (wave-1 company)?
- How can you create value out of sustainability reporting?
- Are you making use of the relief measures? Why (not)?
- Are you making adjustments to the reporting scope, and if so, why?
- What considerations are there for companies that are now no longer in scope, for example in applying the VSME standard?
We invite you to connect with us live, bring your questions, and participate in the discussion!
