As Responsible Sourcing & Human Rights Due Diligence Manager, you will play a critical role in making that possible.
Working within the Supply Chain & RD&I Sustainability team, you will help strengthen the systems, certification programmes, assurance processes and supplier engagement activities that underpin our responsible sourcing commitments. You will lead key elements of our human rights due diligence programme, manage certification schemes across priority ingredients and help build efficient, scalable ways of working that allow us to evidence progress, respond to evolving requirements and continuously improve.
This is a role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity. Someone who can work comfortably with suppliers, auditors, certification bodies and colleagues across Procurement and Sustainability to ensure responsible sourcing is not only well intended, but well managed, well evidenced and capable of delivering meaningful impact.
What you’ll be responsible for
Responsible Sourcing Certification & Assurance
- Own certification programmes across priority commodities, including schemes such as RSPO, Rainforest Alliance and Sustainable Dairy Partnership.
- Manage certification volumes, chain of custody requirements, audits, evidence collection and compliance activities.
- Ensure certification programmes remain robust, credible and audit-ready through effective governance and assurance processes.
- Track performance against responsible sourcing commitments and certification targets.
- Act as the internal expert on certification requirements and assurance expectations.
Human Rights Due Diligence
- Lead implementation of key elements of TMICC’s Human Rights Due Diligence programme.
- Manage social audit programmes through platforms such as Sedex and SMETA, including planning, review and follow-up of corrective actions.
- Support risk identification, prioritisation and monitoring across priority sourcing regions and supply chains.
- Work with suppliers to address findings, strengthen management systems and improve performance over time.
- Help ensure TMICC can effectively identify, assess and address salient human rights risks across its value chain.
Supplier Engagement & Continuous Improvement
- Build strong working relationships with suppliers, certification bodies and assurance partners.
- Partner with suppliers to improve sustainability practices, transparency and performance across priority ingredient supply chains.
- Support suppliers in meeting certification, audit and due diligence requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement through supplier engagement, corrective action plans and capability building.
- Act as a trusted sustainability partner to Procurement teams and suppliers alike.
Data, Reporting & Regulatory Readiness
- Own responsible sourcing data, evidence and reporting processes across priority ingredient programmes.
- Improve data quality, accessibility and reporting capabilities to support decision-making, sustainability disclosures and assurance activities.
- Coordinate reporting inputs relating to certified sourcing, human rights due diligence and responsible sourcing commitments.
- Support readiness for evolving responsible sourcing, traceability and supply chain due diligence requirements.
- Ensure responsible sourcing claims and disclosures are supported by robust evidence and governance processes.
