De finalisten van The Circulars zijn door de organisatie (World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders in samenwerking met Accenture) bekend gemaakt. Nederland is zeer goed vertegenwoordigd onder de finalisten!
In de categorie ‘Circular Economy Leadership‘ komen maar liefst 3 van de 6 finalisten uit Nederland: Else Bos (CEO PGGM), Feike Sijbesma (CEO DSM) en Thomas Rau (Founder & CEO, Turntoo & RAU).
In de categorie ‘Circular Economy Multinational’ behoren Philips en Unilever tot de finalisten.
DLL (onderdeel Rabobank) behoort tot de finalisten in de categorie ‘Circular Economy investor‘.
In de categorie ‘People’s Choice Award‘ behoort het Nederlands bedrijf Van Hulley tot de finalisten. Het publiek kon in deze categorie stemmen op één van de finalisten, deze stemming is inmiddels afgesloten.
The Circulars, the world’s premier circular economy award program, offers recognition to individuals and organizations from commerce and civil society across the globe that have made a notable contribution to driving circular economy principles – where growth doesn’t depend on the use of scarce natural resources. Awards will be presented in a ceremony at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos in January 2016.
