The sustainable development portal, accessible also through the WBCSD’s main website , now features a list of electronic reports in four categories: environment, health safety and environment, social and environment and sustainable development.
-Reporting is now widely accepted by the business community, and is part of efforts of individual companies to be accountable to their shareholders and to other stakeholders,” says Al Fry, Project Manager for the WBCSD’s sustainable development reporting portal. -This is why the WBCSD wants to make their reports available to the widest possible audience, in the easiest possible way.”
In addition to the list of electronic reports, the portal showcases reporting practices from almost 50 companies, representing 14 business sectors and provides a step by step guide to help companies to develop or improve their sustainable development reports.
To find an individual report, a quick scroll to the name of the individual company listed in alphabetical order does the trick. Then, a click on the year of issue leads to a web page giving access to the report.
