Within Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P), the ESG team works with suppliers worldwide to help reduce environmental impact across the supply chain. The team contributes to ASML’s sustainability ambitions by supporting projects related to climate impact, sustainable materials, circularity, and responsible sourcing. In this internship, you will help drive meaningful sustainability initiatives and contribute to projects that support long-term environmental improvement. This internship offers the opportunity to combine research, analysis, and stakeholder collaboration in an international high-tech environment.

Your assignment

As part of the ESG team, you will support both strategic projects and daily sustainability activities. You will help assess environmental impacts, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to supplier engagement initiatives. Throughout this internship, you will work closely with experienced professionals and gain insight into sustainability challenges within complex global supply chains. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Support environmental sustainability projects across the supplier network.
  • Research sustainable and alternative materials and identify environmental improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze product and supply chain environmental impacts using lifecycle-based approaches.
  • Contribute to projects focused on emissions reduction and supplier decarbonization.
  • Support environmental risk assessments and sustainability-related data analysis.
  • Help develop methodologies for circularity, material reuse, and environmental performance measurement.
  • Create sustainability communication materials and support supplier engagement activities.

This is a master internship for minimum 6 months, minimum 4 days per week (3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of February 2027, but an earlier start date is also possible .
