Corporate Express Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Corporate Express NV (Euronext: CXP and NYSE: CXP) and one of the world’s largest business-to business suppliers of essential business supplies and services, received a Catalogue of the Year Award from the European Catalogue and Mail Order Days (ECMOD) at their annual awards celebration.

On the evening of 5th March, market leaders from the catalogue, multi-channel and retail sectors gathered together to learn who had won ECMOD Awards for their achievements in the full calendar year of 2007.

Corporate Express received the Catalogue of the Year Award in the business-to-business category for office supplies, furniture and equipment for its Socially Responsible Purchasing Catalogue. The catalogue features 2,690 environmental, charitable and diversity products from the industry’s leading manufacturers, and represents their dedication to corporate social responsibility (CSR), specifically environmental sustainability, the workplace, community and the marketplace.

The Corporate Express Socially Responsible Purchasing Catalogue, which has been seen as a major milestone for Corporate Express in terms of their commitment to CSR, has been printed on EFC recycled paper, features a full range of environmental products, Fair Trade, diversity and charitable products from the industry’s leading manufacturers, including Corporate Express Brands and leading environmental manufacturers. Every product in the catalogue went through a vigorous selection process and only products with credible environmental factors were chosen for the catalogue.
