True Price

About us

Do you want to use strong analytical and quantitative skills to help make products more sustainable and transparent? At True Price, we help organisations understand the social and environmental impacts behind products and value chains, and translate those insights into practical decisions. We are looking for a data-driven, digitally minded analyst who is at home in impact and LCA methodology, supply chain data and quantitative modelling, who can solve complex analytical challenges with minimal supervision, and who wants to contribute to a fairer and more sustainable economy.

Join a team of passionate individuals committed to making products fairer, more sustainable and more transparent through true pricing. Benefit and learn from years of experience in developing true pricing methodology, carrying out product- and value-chain assessments, making social and environmental impacts visible, and helping organisations translate quantified insights into credible action.

Your role

In this role, you are the analytical engine behind assessments for organisations that want to understand the social and environmental impacts of their products and value chains. You structure analytical questions, source and interrogate supply chain data, build and review impact and LCA models, and translate the results into practical true pricing insights. You are expected to work through complex, ambiguous problems largely independently – choosing an appropriate method, documenting your assumptions and quality-checking your own work – and to turn the analysis into clear, client-ready deliverables.

You will work on projects with companies, public partners and knowledge institutions. You will help clients measure and value environmental and social impacts across product portfolios and value chains (climate impact, water use, biodiversity, pollution, living wages, living income and human rights risks) drawing on LCA databases, supply chain and procurement data, sector statistics and client-specific datasets, including primary farm-level data. Your work will help clients move from insight to action: making products, sourcing, strategy, reporting and stakeholder engagement more sustainable and transparent.

Your responsibilities:

Projects:

  • Take ownership of the analytical core of projects, like data collection, model build, calculations and quality control, and deliver it on time and to a high standard with minimal supervision.
  • Structure complex analytical problems, translate client needs into clear research questions, and decide which data, methods and models fit the question.
  • Prepare client-ready deliverables such as slide decks, reports, tools and recommendations with limited senior review.
  • Present and defend analytical results, assumptions and limitations to client teams, and work with their data and sustainability specialists to get the inputs you need.
  • Safeguard the reproducibility of your work: document data sources, assumptions and calculation steps so results can be reviewed and reused, and flag data gaps or methodological risks early.

Commercial:

  • Contribute to business development by doing background analyses, shaping ideas, supporting sales processes and helping organise proposal work.
  • Write the methodological and analytical sections of proposals with limited review from senior colleagues, such as the scope, data requirements, approach and capacity required.
  • Start building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, partners and existing client teams.

Content:

  • Apply and validate the methodologies behind the work: true pricing, impact measurement and valuation, LCA and footprinting, and supply chain and value-chain analytics.
  • Work with LCA databases, social impact data, emission and impact factors, and client supply chain data to build defensible quantitative models.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality for data analysis, models, assumptions and written content in client deliverables.
  • Stay up to date with emerging methods, standards and data sources in true pricing, LCA, impact measurement, sustainability reporting and responsible value chains, including how AI and new tooling can strengthen this work.
  • Develop growing expertise in one or more impact themes, methods or sectors relevant to our work.
