Responsibilities

Main purpose:

The purpose of the extension is initiated as the role of NL Make Maintenance Lead has become redundant. This extension to the role helps to keep the control on-site level. The automation, facilities and security extension to the current role is creating a better backbone in the structural improvements on-site levels.

Accountabilities:

Improve plant preventative maintenance to reduce planned downtime and corrective maintenance:

  • Lead the team effort at information flow to prepare daily QCDM in a minimum time window
  • Lead the team to grow of the quantity and quality of the preventative maintenance planning
  • Coach the growth and training program of predictive maintenance program
  • Improve the team knowledge by driving quantity and quality of the training program
  • Coach the team to a high maintenance planning achievement
  • Coach the team to uptimize the team technicians utilization booked.

Improve plant reliability to reduce unplanned downtime, to reduce maintenance budget and reduce technical stock inventory by:

  • Coach team improvement of problem solving to root cause by act preventative at safe delivery priorities
  • Coach team project management at maintenance, sustainability and automation performance gaps
  • Build maintenance AOP and Strategic 5 year plan (IGP) in cooperation with SLT and accountable for execution plan
  • Propose and execute maintenance budgets
  • Optimization of maintenance program and participating in key site projects
  • Create a solid structure together with NL Make sites

Improve plant sustainability by

  • Coach the team to execute ReCon projects
  • Reporting and communication of all sustainability information and KPI’s in and outside the plant
  • Responsible for utilities, water treatment and waste budget including AOP/IGP Process
  • Responsible for targets on water, gas and electricity
  • Project owner of sustainability investment projects including drafting URS and CAPEXes
  • Give input on sustainability for all investment projects
  • Initiating new sustainability projects

Improve plant corrective maintenance to a minimum unplanned downtime of process and packaging by:

  • Drive lean in the daily team maintenance meeting to set daily safe delivery priorities and give corrective and RCA owners
  • Drive lean in all team communications
  • Drive team information flow with and support to operations
  • Drive site availability by coaching the (maintenance) planning for opportunities
  • Drive team performance by coaching the peers in the day to day business

Other;

  • Pro active representative of the maintenance department in Operational Management Team

Reduce plant slow running by

  • Coach team project management at operational performance gaps

Reduce automation losses by

  • Coach the automation department to structurally improve site performance at Automation level
  • Coach the automation department in the Root Cause Analysis
  • Coach the automation department in building automation strategic 5 year plan (BOL and Rotterdam) in cooperation with OMT and accountable for execution plan

FACILITIES / SECURITY

  • Coach the team to structurally improve site basic needs
  • Coach and challenge the team to improve current site standards
  • Coach the facility/security department in building the strategic 5 year plan (BOL and Rotterdam) in cooperation with OMT and accountable for execution plan

SAFETY: Drive plant safety injuries to a minimum by:

  • Change team safety culture to zero risk taking
  • Drive team to provide weekly near misses
  • Drive the team to execute daily STOP observations
  • Drive team Lock out Tag out execution
  • Drive team permits execution and auditation to a green kpi score
  • Drive team execution of the HSE duty holder ship to 100%

CAPITAL AGENDA

  • Support the sites Capital agenda for BOL site related investments
  • Coach the team to initiate and role out Capital related projects
  • Owner in OMT regarding roll out and follow up for the Capital agenda from sites perspective
