Complexity (Heterogeneity & Knowledge)

The role involves advising and executing to develop an efficient and safe SHE organization, benefiting the safety and well being of employees. The SHE Coordinator frequently shifts focus due to employee inquiries and meetings, requiring normal accuracy for detecting SHE deviations and creating documentation/reports. The position demands bachelor level education with SHE expertise and staying updated on relevant regulations.

Organizational Capacity (Autonomy & Internal Contacts)

The Safety & Sustainability Coordinator’s time management adheres to procedures, meeting schedules, incident responses, and project deadlines, with autonomy outside these constraints. Bound by international OSHA standards and Storio SHE policies, the coordinator must creatively translate ideas into SHE procedures. The role includes advisory responsibilities for the management and all departments, requiring indirect supervision through reports and external audits, and the ability to make independent operational decisions within legal and policy frameworks.

Risk & External Contacts

The Safety & Sustainability Coordinator engages with global SHE colleagues, external organizations, emergency services, suppliers, NEN bodies, and government agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and alignment with the global SHE policies. Communication tact is essential, particularly with international colleagues. Mistakes can lead to incorrect policy execution, potentially resulting in accidents, unsafe conditions, and sanctions, though the risk of timely error detection is high due to self checks and supervisory oversight.
