About the position

We aim to make our packaging more sustainable, minimize waste while protecting our products. We continue to innovate and collaborate to reduce our plastic packaging and moving towards a circular economy. To help achieve these goals we are hiring a Packaging Sustainability Specialist to be based at our Flora FG Food Science Centre. In this position you will:

• Be part of the Global Packaging Team, being part of the packaging agenda to comply with future legislation requirements and supply chain systems.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external partners, to define the best route for the future. Leading sustainability initiatives related to packaging materials and systems.
• Ensure compliance with international and local packaging regulations (e.g., SUP Directive, PPWR, EPR schemes), tracking and estimating the financial impact of green taxes (e.g., plastic taxes, eco-modulated EPR fees), working in close collaboration with regulatory, taxes, sustainability and procurement to identify opportunities for the packaging portfolio to be more sustainable.
• Monitor and analyze packaging environmental performance, supporting on data collection from our supply chain and reporting it to the organization.
