Your future plans
With our mission “Growing Green”, we are striving for climate neutrality by 2040. For this, we need well-founded know-how for the development and implementation of the sustainability strategy for RWE Generation. Become a member of #TEAMRWE and contribute your know-how as Manager Strategy and Sustainability (m/f/d) to the energy turnaround by performing the following tasks, among others:

• Developing and refining the sustainability strategy for RWE Generation SE and integrating it into the business strategy
• Developing a sustainability action plan including monitoring its implementation
• Coordination of sustainability projects in cooperation with the sustainability teams of the RWE companies
• Definition of goals, preparation of strategic roadmaps, initiation of measures and steering of expert groups on the sustainability topics that are important for RWE Generation SE
• Reviewing taxonomy compliance of existing business areas and new investments as well as supporting financial and non-financial reporting

Your powerful skills

• Completed studies in the field of sustainability management, economics, engineering, natural sciences or similar
• Several years of professional experience in sustainability management, in the energy sector or in management consulting
• Understanding of the generation business and technological options
• Ability to work in a team and passion for interdisciplinary and cross-border cooperation
• Sound knowledge of all MS Office applications
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English

Advantageous, but not a must

• German and/or Dutch language skills
