Kyocera Fastening Solutions Europe
Kyocera Fastening Solutions Europe is on an exciting journey of growth, merging Kyocera Unimerco Fastening A/S in Denmark with Kyocera Senco BV in the Netherlands. This merger creates a €160M turnover business with 400 employees, dedicated to providing fastening solutions to the construction industry and professional end-users. As part of our commitment to building a better future, we are focused on delivering sustainable solutions to ESG-focused distributors and industrial end-users. To achieve this, we are establishing a group ESG function to drive our efforts in meeting evolving legislation, reporting standards, and customer expectations.

- Collaborating with Group Finance on CSRD reporting, including identifying, automating, and operationalizing data capture and materiality assessments.
- Expanding and enriching ESG datasets to establish priorities, set goals, and embed ESG practices into every aspect of the organization.
This role offers the unique opportunity to build a new function with full strategic backing, driving the ESG agenda as a competitive advantage and embedding sustainability into our operations.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, trade marketing, HR, legal, finance, and procurement to embed ESG measures into practical solutions.
- Lead initiatives to optimize packaging, reduce energy consumption, set emissions goals, and drive reduction activities.
- Build and maintain ESG policies, priorities, and goals for the company.
- Partner with advisors, such as Grant Thornton, to ensure compliance with ESG regulations and reporting standards.
- Establish and operationally manage key ESG projects, with plans to expand the team by hiring an additional ESG/Product Compliance Specialist within 2-3 years.
This position will be based in Lelystad or Eindhoven, NL, with hybrid working opportunities. Occasional travel (20-30 days annually), mainly within Europe, should be expected. Further, occasionally global cooperation with our Kyocera group ESG associates in USA and Japan will take place.
