The July B.V.

The July is where great stories begin…

The July is a premium hospitality brand redefining the way people travel with a personal, human touch. We create beautifully designed spaces in destinations around the globe, and our team is on a mission to expand with multiple new apartment-hotels in top European cities such as London, Dublin, Lisbon and more to plan. Each property is thoughtfully crafted, reflecting the unique local stories and spirit of its surroundings.

Our goal? To provide guests with a place where they can truly unwind, embark on new adventures, and forge meaningful connections—to stay their way. The July is a company of people who love people, it’s as simple as that! From our guests to our colleagues, we all take ownership and pride in what we do. That’s why we’ve been awarded as a Great Place to Work not once, but twice!

We’re Expanding!

As sustainability becomes an increasingly important part of our mission, we are looking for an (Junior) ESG Coordinator to expand our team. In this role, you will support a wide range of ESG (environmental, social and governance related) initiatives with the goals to increase our positive impact and lower our carbon emissions. You will work closely with multiple departments across the organization and have an independent role while teamwork is key. You will assist in social activities for the neighborhood, new employee benefit programs, carbon reduction plans and sustainability measures for our new locations abroad. We’re looking for a proactive and analytical People & Planet enthusiast who is ready to roll up their sleeves, learn fast, and grow with us. Your core tasks will vary from attending meetings and having talks with our suppliers on our joint sustainability efforts to assisting in achieving our certifications and doing some desk research to new trends and best practices in the market.

The job

But this role is about much more than just ticking sustainability boxes. You’ll gain hands-on experience across various sustainability projects. It gives you the opportunity to develop yourself as a broadly experienced ESG professional with the option to develop further within the company, as social and environmental responsibility becomes a more and more important cornerstone of our company.

In this position, you’ll sharpen essential skills like project coordination, data analysis, stakeholder communication, and sustainable strategy execution. While much of your work happens behind the scenes, your efforts will directly shape the future of The July and help us lead the hospitality industry towards a greener tomorrow. This is a perfect entry-level opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, curious about ESG, and ready to roll up their sleeves. You don’t need years of experience — just a genuine interest in sustainability, strong communication skills, and the drive to make a difference.
