WHAT YOU WILL DO?

As a Global EHS Manager on Environment you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing global environmental programs, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and company standards. This role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainable practices, reduce the organization’s environmental footprint, and foster corporate responsibility globally. The role is also responsible for assisting with informed decision making into strategic and environmental operational risk exposures, while focusing on embedding risk assessment processes within the day-to-day business operations.

This results in the following tasks for you:

Environmental Management System Development

• Develop and execute a global strategy and environmental management system (EMS) aligned with corporate goals.
• Collaborate with operational leadership to identify global environmental priorities and goals, then identify the optimal KPIs to measure progress to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and internal requirements of the Environmental Management System.

Environmental Management System Implementation

• Create a database of compliance tasks to implement the requirements to be incorporated by each site into their EHS Mgmt system with assigned an owner, frequency, and guidelines
• Conduct analysis of reported environmental data to identify trends and develop proactive corrective and preventive actions .

Personnel Training & Coaching

• Develop material and train EHS front lines on Environmental Management System procedures, compliance tasks and compliance assurance processes
• Providing technical support and guidance to operational and EHS leaders following environmental release/spill incidents: clean-up and remediation, investigation and root cause analysis, regulatory and internal reporting.
• Coordinate best practice sharing activities
• Contribute to EHS operating reviews content related to the implementation of the Environmental Management System at the site level and the assessment of progress towards compliance
• Deliver technical support to sites, acting as subject matter expert to support and guide site EHS managers on a variety of Environmental matters and risks.

Environmental Management System Compliance Assurance

• Conduct cross-site audits and provide detailed reports on findings and necessary actions and follow up to closure.
• Ensure compliance with related regulatory reporting requirements including CSRD
