ESG Reporting Specialist

About the job

As the world is changing, so is the need for ESG Reporting. The ESG Reporting Specialist is a key, hands-on role, within the Controllership organization and has primary responsibility for implementation of current and upcoming European and international ESG reporting requirements including CSRD and EU Taxonomy. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive Nouryon’s sustainability strategy through strong ESG data management and transparent, verifiable disclosures. It’s a highly visible role that will require diving into the value chain and engaging with internal and external stakeholders while implementing the ESG reporting process globally.

In your future role as “ ESG Reporting Specialist ” you will

• Contribute to and help shape our strategy and roadmap to implement the various ESG reporting frameworks, including but not limited to the ESRS, in a timely and efficient manner.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand and address ESG reporting needs, building relationships with regulators, investors, and key partners across Nouryon’s value chain.
• Collaborate with business and topic owners to interpret and translate technical ESG disclosure requirements to clear actions, instructions and reporting procedures.
• Manage workstreams and projects aimed to strengthen ESG performance and reporting including automation and implementation of new technology.
• Develop processes and controls to ensure completeness and accuracy of data being gathered across the Company’s global locations
• Coordinate with auditors as it relates to assurance over ESG disclosures, where required.
