The ESG Better Sourcing (Haygrade to be confirmed) procurement manager leads and owns the procurement Better Sourcing pillar for Global procurement. This includes the roadmap for sustainable sourcing, traceability, human rights and deforestation.
You own the end-to-end procurement Better Sourcing processes, capability governance and reporting. The role includes the identification of overarching procurement opportunities that the global procurement team can subsequently act upon in 1-3 years. An important part of the role is to drive fact based decision making and working with external institutes like Sedex, Ecovadis, Smeta, etc. but also suppliers, customers and NGO’s.

Your qualifications and functional skills:
- MSc degree, preferably in relevant field with 8+ yrs professional procurement experience
- Program and project management
- At least 3 years of experience/ exposure to ESG in procurement
- Strong strategic thinking
- Strong advisory, communication and influencing skills at all levels
- Able to build and maintain a strong external network of peers and other relevant external organizations

- Team·Is a supportive and active ‘go-to’person for Better Sourcing subjects that relate to Procurement, for sustainability and communication officers throughout the company.·Coaches buyers in breakthrough Better Sourcing initiatives such as in the procurement plan
