We have already partnered with over 500 brands and scored thousands of products… and we are just getting started. We have ambitious plans to bring impact transparency to every consumer product in the world.

About the role

We are home to a ground-breaking methodology for evaluating product-level impacts of consumer products. The Chief Scientist will be responsible for further developing this state-of-the-art tool.

Your work will be defining an ambitious roadmap to further enhance the methodology, as well as building and guiding a team to execute on the roadmap. You will seek and create partnerships with other industry experts and organizations to further Dayrize’s thought leadership in the sector. Our research analysts will support you in generating and implementing the solutions to ensure our methodology remains the most advanced for product-level impact assessment.

The role will touch multiple parts of the business – from method development to data collection, collaboration with the software team to implement the analyses, and to generating insights, to deliver the best multicategory product-level impact assessment to our business partners.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Defining a vision and an ambitious roadmap for the further enhancement of the methodology
  • Leading the execution and delivery of the methodology roadmap on time and on budget
  • Innovative thinking about potential data integrations to enhance the granularity and accuracy of our assessment
  • Challenging our current approaches and sparring for new ideas with internal and external colleagues and partners
  • Applying big data sources and geospatial analysis into the scoring methods
  • Identifying, Initiating, and maintaining collaborations with industry experts and leading organizations to help further refine the methodology and build thought leadership
