The big picture

Advisor Sustainability – People

Your team, People – Group Sustainability, works with stakeholders to ensure that as Rabobank we respect human rights within our own operations, business activities and relationships. We do this by identifying the areas that are most at risk to people and make sure to include these in our business processes. We are committed to the United Nations’ Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGP’s) and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct. These commitments guide us.

You and your job

As Advisor Sustainability – People & Human Rights, you apply professional expert knowledge to support the implementation of the People Program throughout the bank. You translate this expert knowledge to operations and business, engaging and working with key internal stakeholders and liaising with external working groups.

Top responsibilities

• Support and advise multidisciplinary teams delivering our People Program with your expertise (e.g. in human rights, labor rights, land rights, discrimination).
• Be a key player in engaging with a diverse group of stakeholders within the bank to enhance their knowledge, understanding of the People theme.
• Monitor business and human rights developments within the financial and food & agricultural sector.
