Philips en Thomas Rau starten proef van nieuw duurzaam verlichtingsconcept Pay per lux

Philips en architect Thomas Rau hebben samen een ‘Pay per lux’ proef opgestart, waarbij de gebruiker alleen voor de werkelijk verbruikte hoeveelheid licht betaalt en geen eigenaar van de verlichtingsinstallatie zelf is. Het kantoor van architectenbureau RAU in Amsterdam wordt op basis van dit nieuwe dienstverleningsconcept verlicht. In dit concept is Philips de hoofdaannemer, wat betekent dat zowel de installatie van de verlichting als de energienota voor rekening van Philips komen en eigenaar blijft van de producten. Dit laatste met als doel de innovatiesnelheid van het energieverbruik van verlichting te stimuleren. Na afloop van de contractperiode zal Philips de verlichtingsproducten weer terug in het productieproces nemen en de grondstoffen weer hergebruiken.
