The Sustainability Consortium (TSC) will organize a webinar about Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) and consumer facing tools that are build on it.
Through the Green Deal, Circular Economy Action Plan and Farm to Fork policies, the European Commission (EC) introduced many new proposals to make supply chains more sustainable. In the first half of this session, Imola Bedo who leads the work on the Product Environmental Footprint on behalf of EC, will update us about recent developments. In the second half Koen Boone, Director Europe of TSC, will report on the many public and private consumer facing initiatives that recently popped up in Europe (Like Ecoscore, Eco-impact, French government initiative). Many of these build partly or fully on the Product Environmental Footprint methodology and several have been piloted or implemented by European retailers.
